Blind confidence is what gets people an ass whipping. If you have never had to overcome true adversity and still think you are a top dog, think again my friend. Encountering real adversity and overcoming true challenges is how you come to know how much you can actually endure. If you encounter someone that is handed a golden ticket and uses it to become successful, that’s great, play the hand you are dealt. Those aren’t the type of people that I like to model my actions after, the type of people I admire are the ones who are so far down a rabbit hole but still reach for that one shining golden start in the distance and never stop reaching until they finally can grasp that beautiful son of a bitch. Those are the people I want on my side and surrounding me.
